What data we collect

When you use this service, we may collect the following information:

• Google account identifiers and email, name, or profile information provided through Google Login
• Interview Target and workspace information, job descriptions, resume content, and saved versions of your target information
• Role Evidence Maps and generated role and evidence requirements
• Prepared Experiences and preparation notes that you save
• Interview questions, follow-ups, answers, audio submitted for transcription where used, transcriptions, answer feedback, Diagnosis outputs, and final reports
• Credit balance, credit transactions, purchase and payment status information, and referral information where used
• Basic usage information, such as page views, feature events, error states, and completion progress

Sensitive information

We do not require government ID numbers, financial data, medical data, or other highly sensitive information. Your resume content, preparation material, and interview answers may naturally contain personal or employment information, so please avoid including unnecessary highly sensitive, confidential, or non-shareable data.

How we use data

We use information as needed to authenticate users, manage Interview Targets and Preparation, interpret target-job requirements, and generate Role Evidence Maps. We also use it to save and display your Prepared Experiences, provide role-specific interview questions and follow-ups, transcribe audio where used, evaluate interview answers, and generate Diagnosis reports.

• Operate credits, billing, payment fulfillment, referrals, and customer support
• Maintain security, reliability, error handling, and service quality
• Understand product usage through sanitized analytics and improve the product

Use of AI services

Okareer uses third-party AI services, currently including OpenAI, for specific features. Depending on the feature you use, relevant content such as your target job description, resume, interview answers, or submitted audio may be processed to provide role-preparation outputs, interview questions and follow-ups, transcription, answer feedback, or Diagnosis results. We aim to send only the information needed for the relevant feature.

• Role Evidence Map generation uses your target job description and language setting only. It does not use your resume, Prepared Experiences, interview mode, prior interview answers, prior interview evidence, or prior reports.
• Saved Prepared Experiences are not used to generate the Role Evidence Map, Diagnosis results, or final Diagnosis report.

Analytics tools

We use Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand product usage, marketing performance, and conversions. These tools may receive sanitized event metadata such as page views, flow events, mode, completion status, answer length or method buckets, and credit or purchase events.

• We do not intentionally send full resume text, full job descriptions, Prepared Experiences, interview-answer content, audio, transcriptions, or Diagnosis-report content to these analytics tools.

Payments

Credit purchases are processed through Creem. Okareer receives transaction and fulfillment information needed to grant credits, show payment status, and provide billing support. Creem handles the payment checkout, so Okareer does not need to receive or store your payment-card details in this purchase flow.

Data retention

We retain application data as needed to operate the service and your account, support billing and product functionality, and maintain security and reliability. We do not currently publish a fixed automatic retention period. You may request deletion of your account and application-controlled data by contacting us. External service providers may retain information according to their own policies and requirements.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of your Okareer account and application-controlled data by contacting service@okareer.com. When we process an account-deletion request, we delete application-controlled data associated with your account, including Preparation workspaces and notes, interview sessions and answers, reports, credits and payment records, and related account data.

• Some third-party services, including analytics or other service providers, may maintain data according to their own policies and retention requirements.

Disclaimer

Preparation guidance, Role Evidence Maps, interview feedback, and Diagnosis results are provided to support interview preparation and self-assessment. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Okareer cannot know an interviewer's exact thoughts, predict a hiring decision, or guarantee an offer, and it does not replace employer judgment or professional advice.
